Ashouri is sired by the magnificent Simeon Stav, (Asfour x Simeon Safanad) owned by Pearsons View Arabians.

Ashouri's dam is the beautiful Abiebi, imported from Windamere Arabians in California USA by Kim Baird.  Abiebi has totally captured my heart with her quality, presence and beauty!

I first saw Ashouri as a weanling in her box.  I was captivated by her elegance and beauty.  After frequent enquiries as to how she was growing, Don and Carmel suggested that perhaps it was time she came to live at Sheridan Park!  Well let me tell you it wasnt long before she was loaded onto the transport truck to make her way south!

The search for a sire to compliment this young beauty was on!  It took me around the world before good fortune led me to email Abraxas Arabians.  The value I held for this young beauty led me to purchase a stallion overseas for her!!!  What an exciting journey it has been!

Ashouri has been a quiet achiever here at Sheridan Park.  She quietly sneaks in and waits for a pat when other horses are commanding attention.  She beats to her own drum and often watches or grazes when others are off frollicking around, then all of a sudden she joins in when they have nearly finished, ensuring all eyes are upon her!  If she is tired, she will all of a sudden just plop down in front of you for a rest!  She has a lovely personality and is often one of the first to greet you as you step out of the back door!

She is really starting to come into herself now she is in foal.  She is filling out and developing as a mare.  She still has a ways to go yet before becoming an ethereal mare but once there will just be WOW.  She is holding onto her platinum coloured coat, which is now dappled, her mane is of fairytales, so long and flowing, like a Barbie princess's mare.

Ashouri is growing up!  She is seen here in Feb 2007 as a 4yo mare in foal to Abraxas Amir.  She put on a lovely show for us and had a ball doing so!  She showed us her powerhouse trot and was a joy to behold.  Her foal to Amir promises to be a beautiful creation as both horses have so many exemplary features, that meshed have to create a masterpiece!

Ashouri has now foaled a beautiful black going grey colt on the 7th of September 2007.  He has surpassed all my expectations and promises to be an outstanding representative of his pedigree.  Here is a pic of Ashouri taken on day 2 after foaling, when she spied what i was sitting on!
